Trains

Oxford Railway station can be reached by a direct bus service (No 4 bus) which passes the house. The bus stop is about 50 yards from Acorn.
Alternatively you can take a taxi - the fare is approximately £7. 00.

Buses

The regular no 3 and no 4 buses all go to and from the centre of Oxford and pass our door.

To reach Acorn Guest House you can get on the bus at Queen Street or the High Street and ask the driver for a ticket to the Magdalen Road bus stop on Iffley Road. The front of the bus will show the destination as 'Rose Hill'. This service should run every 10 minutes on weekdays and every 20 minutes in the evenings and at weekends. From the Central Bus Station at Gloucester Green there are frequent buses to London, Heathrow and Gatwick and of course buses to many other parts of the UK.
